Today,Pirates of kosi cricket team has officially launched their musical theme.On today onwards this musical theme will be available for download [ Download Pirate theme Now ] to all die hard pirate fans all across the globe.This musical theme is presently available in MP3 format but later it will be provided in several other formats.

Pirate fans having mobile phones capable of playing MP3 music can also use this 1 minute musical theme as ringtone in their mobile phones.This musical ringtone is basically a part of pirates of kosi accessories club.On today onwards this theme will serve the purpose of official pirate music and ringtones.Later this ringtone will be avalible to download via SMS.

Winning pirate team

Again we have good news for all the pirate fans that The pirates of kosi has won the first match of this years GLA cup that was held on 23rd oct 2008 at 1530 hrs on Gla cricket ground.This year Pirates of kosi was placed in Pool A i.e. POOL OF DEATH that includes some of the most promising teams of this cricket loving campus.

Piarte captain Jay the pirate was called for the toss at 1528 hrs , after 2 minutes of rules and regulation dictation by umpire Brijesh and Mukul accompanied by committee member Himanshu,the coin was tossed and heads was the call by me and pirates won the toss and they decided to bat first.

Just before the start of match we have major sat back as Digamber the Pirate got ill.But this pirate proved to be more tougher than our calculations,inspite of fever he played and build a nice base for the pirate team.He opened along with Keshav the pirate and make nicley complied 19 runs.Pirate batsman start hitting just after the first bowl of their match.The large gathering of pirate fans enjoyed this whole show and most of the fans rated it as the one of the most memorable batting innings they have ever seen.Pirate team scored 70 runs and Desi Rocker has to make 71 runs to win this important match.

After this desi rocker came to bat and they start loosing their wickets from the very first over.During the whole match this last hope of B.Tech first year was never in position to fight with Pirate team.This team struggeled through out the match and at last they lost the game by a huge margin of 18 runs.Pirate bowling attack was so fierce that desi rocker was even able to play their share of overs.They collapsed much before hence pirate invaded to the second round of this tournamnet.

Pulkit the pirate was awarded as man of the match for his four wicket bowling howl.He also got a handle the bowl wicket that no one ever has supposed to claim in the history of cricket in GLA.Over all that was a nice match to watch for the pirate fans as pirate team dominated and excelled in the each department of the game.But some critics might not like this match as this was a one sided match.Desi rocker might have learned something from their dominating opponents becuase when it comes to game spirit pirate always excells and allow their oponents to learn something from the game that's why we just believe in defeating rival temas not completely devastating them.

Pirates of kosi are back

Yes after a year long break,this time pirates are making their way to a GLA cricket tournamnet Simply Cricket.The first match of pirates has been scheduled to be held on 23 oct 2008 at 1500 hrs on GLA cricket ground.As i promised you last time that next pirate team will always be better than the prvious one.So here it is, this time pirate team consists of 6 players from GLAIPS and 6 players from GLAITM and GLNAITM.Here is the pirate squad.

This is the lastet information that i have.I will try to post some detalied bio data of pirate team that i used to post along with practice detalies and summary of matches.

PIRATES IN PRE-QUARTER FINAL OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY

pirates have reached into the pre quarter final of tournament by scoring a smashing victory over friends eleven.who cares for the rival team,pirates always remain in touch for victory over rivals.This time too pirates prove their mattle and thrashed the opposite team.
Though it was a close match but everything was according to the plan as already decided by captain Ajeet the pirate.

Pirate lost the toss and was asked to field first.It was not the delighting moment for the pirates to field first.Jitendra the pirate start the attack for the pirate team.HE along with other attacker
bowlers bowls beautifully and they stopped the friends eleven at a total of 65 means pirates have to score 66 to enter into the next round of the tournament by recording a victory here.

That was not an easy task as pirates was not familiar to such conditions means 8 am in the morning was too early to play the game.

This game was played on 30th sep 2007 on sunday. But by the contribution of Sehnad,amrit,digamber and some lovely shots from jitendra and me(Jay the pirate) were enough to win the game. thats all.Slow internet connection is preventing me to write more.
Now pirates are having next match with ASCENT on saturday evening.
